  2. Social dimension/policy of the EU
    1. Free movement of persons and their protection
    2. Coordination of social security systems of the European Union
    3. EU employment policies (activation of excluded persons: youth, unemployed, disabled, women, elderly, migrants, etc.
  3. Social security and business interest (pros & cons for employees and employers)
    1. Financing social security scheme
    2. Health and sickness scheme
    3. Pension scheme
    4. Unemployment scheme
    5. Maternity and family support scheme

Course topics:

The course examines the main international (multilateral: ILO, COE, and bilateral: social security agreements), supranational (EU) and Hungarian legislations of social security issues and their role relating to development to supportive and value driven business environment. The regulation of social security and social assistance is set in the context of the political, economic (business) and historical development.

Aims:

The aim of the course to educate receptive (business) lawyers/managers who should be open to international and European social security issues. Management is an act of getting people together to accomplish desired goals and objectives using available resources efficiently and effectively. Managers’ work comprises planning, organizing, staffing, leading or directing, and controlling an organization (a group of one or more people or entities) or effort for the purpose of accomplishing a goal. To plan with human resources and social security protection is an imminent part of the modern value driven management approach. The course intends to establish such kind of perspectives for the participants.

The aim of the course is to entitle the students with the knowledge of understanding the most important terms of accounting and to introduce the bookkeeping of basic economic events.
