The Challenges for Analysis of the Economy, the Businesses, and Social Progress International Scientific Conference was organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged (Hungary) and the Hungarian Central Statistical Office from November 19 to 21, 2009 in Szeged. More than 220 colleagues took part in this conference form 35 countries (from Mexico to Japan and Australia). 190 presentations were taken from various areas of statistics and methodology and applications of those in 2 Plenary and 16 Parallel Sessions.
